Itinerary
Day 1 – Saturday – October 16 – Depart - Miami
Embark the newest ship in the fleet of the Norwegian Cruise Line “The Epic” at the Port of Miami. Please be on board the ship by 3:00pm as the ship will sail promptly at 4:00pm. Boarding will begin at noon and why not get on board early to explore this magnificent ship and enjoy lunch. This evening meet for a welcome party. Dining on the ship is Free Style, so enjoy dinner at your leisure at one of the many restaurants. www.nclepic.com

Day 2 – Sunday – October 17 – At Sea
The day is at sea. A welcome orientation meeting is planned for this evening. All times to be advised.

Day 3 – Monday – October 18 – Costa Maya
Arrive at the port of Costa Maya. Today you will take an excursion to Chacchoben Mayan Ruins for grid work. Explore the virtually unexcavated Chacchoben Mayan Ruins situated in a secluded jungle setting near the border of Belize. Return to the ship.

Day 4 – Tuesday – October 19 – Roatan
This morning you will disembark the ship to spend a day on the Island of Roatan. Transfer to a private beach for grid work and a picnic lunch. For the adventuresome join in on a Mayan Jungle Zipline and Monkey experience. Hold and interact with White-Faced Capuchin Monkeys and Black Spider Monkeys. See parrots, katamundi, island rabbits, pet deer, howler monkeys, night monkeys, raccoons, and more

Day 5 – Wednesday – October 20 - At Sea
The day is at sea. Meeting is planned for this evening. All times to be advised.

Day 6 – Thursday – October 21 – Cozumel –
Mayan Cave Exploration
Take a 45-minute ferry ride from your ship to Playa del Carmen located on the Yucatan Peninsula. Once there, you'll travel by jeep to see the timeless beauty of the regions diverse natural environments. Explore the cool dark mysteries of a Mayan cavern and cenote and go back in time to the mystical and ancient Chac Tun Cavern. Explore the cave to discover its striking stalactite and stalagmite formations. Have the unique opportunity to refresh yourself in the sacred waters of a cavern cenote (a pool fed by underground rivers) where Mayans swam to purify and rejuvenate themselves.

Day 7 – Friday – October 22 - At Sea
Workshop time to be advised. This evening the group will gather for a farewell dinner.

Day 8 – Saturday – October 23 - Miami
Arrive at the port at 8:00am and disembark.
